WHITEHAVEN have signed Aussie playmaker Dylan Skee on a two-year contract.
The youngster, a regular for Super League Harlequins' second-string this year, holds a British passport so will not count on the overseas quota.
Coach Ged Stokes said today: "He was recommended to me by his agent, and I did some background work and I've seen some DVDs.
"He probably hasn't had a chance at Harlequins due to import players coming in over the top of him."

A hat-trick from Luke Dorn couldn't prevent Harlequins slipping to a 44-34 loss at the hands of Warrington.
Kevin Penny scored two of the Wolves' eight tries as the Challenge Cup winners rounded out their season in style.
For Quins the loss was their 11th in 12 outings - a dreadful slump in form that means they finish up in 11th position having been ensconced in the top eight for so much of the campaign.

The Londoners kicked off engage Super League XIV on a high note with a 12-8 win at the Jungle back in February and four months later were riding high in fourth place in the table.
But Brian McDermott's men have slipped out of the top eight after winning just one of their last 10 games and desperately need to complete the double over eighth-placed Castleford to revive their play-off prospects.

A Craig Hall hat-trick helped Hull on their way to a convincing 26-6 win over Harlequins at the KC Stadium in Friday night.
After last week's defeat to Catalans Dragons ended their play-off hopes, Hull responded in the best possible way to cruise to their biggest win of the season and leave Quins in danger of missing out on a top-eight spot themselves.
Tom Briscoe was the next to score, sauntering in at the corner after Quins winger Will Sharp gave up possession close to his own line with no-one aroun

Two clubs still harbouring play-off ambitions have what could be their best chance of forcing their way into the top eight today.
Harlequins lost the second of their two consecutive games against Bradford last weekend, going down 42-18 to the Bulls at home.
Their coach, Brian McDermott, told them they would not deserve to make the play-offs on that sort of form, so he will be looking for a major improvement against Salford at the Stoop this afternoon.
